Portland Timber Jim You Are My Sunshine T-shirt

This t-shirt is memory of Timber Jim’s daughter, Hannah, who was killed in an automobile accident in 2004. The Timbers Army made a tradition of singing “You Are My Sunshine,” often led by a joyful Timber Jim.

This shirt commemorates the Sunshine Sunflower goal by Ryan Pore.

Artwork for the front design was been created by Jim’s grand-daughter.

Partial proceeds will go to the Timber Jim College Scholarship fund.… Read the rest

Franz Bread Trading Cards

This year Franz and the Timbers have teamed up to release Timbers cards in loaves of Franz Organic bread (specifically: Friday Harbor Organic Great Grain, Willamette Valley Organic Great Seed, Big Horn Valley Organic Whole Wheat, and San Juan Organic 9 Grain). The cards are a throwback to the days of Franz distributing Blazers cards in loaves of their white bread. Not sure if you remember that or not. The cards feature 11 players and Coach John Spencer, and are officially available in stores today.

Timber Jim is asking for donations to Leukemia/Lymphoma Research

Dear Army

I am a cancer survivor. I have experienced the love and support of the Timbers Army first hand. I am compelled to help others who face similar or worse circumstances.
I also can relate with families who are faced with losing a child.
People who go through Leukemia and Lymphoma treatment have experienced much more invasive procedures than I endured. I feel very fortunate and am relentless in my desire to do something to help. Please Spread the Love to advance this campaign.
