TANYA 2011

14 October 2011 838 views 3 Comments

@TimbersArmyNoob sent us the top five finishers so far for TANYA 2011.  Who do you think is most deserving of a TANYA?  Take the poll below.

Top 5

  • LARPers – Whether it be a Luchador mask, an Aztec headdress, facepaint, kilts, or mohawks, we are all special and deserve to get noticed.
  • People that still seriously post on SCUSA – It served its purpose these past many years and deserves our thanks, but it’s easier to bang your head against a cheese grater. Faster too.
  • Timberssuck on Twitter – Like a cross between Rick Astley, Don Imus, and your bitter semi-ethnocentric (and let’s admit it, slightly racist) grandpa, this guy is never gonna give baseball up.
  • Corvette Lady on Oregonlive – Though not new to the Oregonlive.com comment trolling game, she’s actually starting to concede some points to the dark side. Plans to capo a match next season.
  • Everyone with roses on their No Pity scarf – Wear it with pride, my pretties. The Hester Prynnes of the Timbers Army.
Honorable Mention:
  • Section 108 Unicorn Patrol
  • Whoever thought it was a good idea to sing “Rose City ‘Til I Die” on the Root Sports’ bastardized version of the South African World Cup anthem intro with the Champions League Theme singers
  • Everyone who plants their feet and crosses their arms during the Tetris dance
  • The stick up Amanda Fritz’s ass
  • Anyone who went to an official viewing party, especially at the Thirsty Lion

Who should win TANYA 2011?

I’ll bet on any given week, Timberssuck spends more time thinking about the team than 80% of the people who actually buy tickets.
