Dropping Timber’s notes:
- Chivas USA had a huge roster turnover since the 2009 expansion draft. A majority of the exposed players for 2009 are not on their current roster.
- Seven protected players remain from 2010, but with so many new players, it’s up in the air if the same ones will be protected. Most of them did see a lot of action on the field, except Cuesta and Flores who are both 21 years old (and have cheap contracts).
- Alan Gordon has played well since coming to Chivas, expect him to be protected.
