Mamadou “Futty” Danso scored the game winner in the 72nd minute.  Pore scored in the 67th minute off a PK for his 11th goal.  Vancouver started things off with a goal at 51′.

With two wins and a tie against Vancouver, the Timbers retain the Cascadia Cup.

The Timbers break a 6 year winless streak in Vancouver, as well as a 3 year losing streak.  This is only the Whitecaps third loss of the season.
