PGE Park is just two months away from the final phase of construction to make the venue a soccer specific stadium, for a closer look at what the new park will look like check out the awesome virtual venue seat selector. Portland State Football and local high schools will also benefit from the newly redesigned stadium as they will continue to use the facility in 2011 and beyond. The stadium renovation will be finished for the Timbers to play in during their first season in the MLS.
The Kansas City Wizard’s new stadium is coming along, as today they began installing the roof trusses. Check the Hillcrest Road Blog for the latest updates.

The Philadelphia Union opened their new stadium PPL Park in style, by obliterating the flounders on June 27th. For more information on the new stadium go to the Union’s official stadium site.
