USSF 2nd Divsion, USL/NASL Agreement
Finally, after months of back and forth, America’s 2nd division is set and ready for play. The United Soccer League (USL) and the North American Soccer League (NASL) will play in the same league separated by two conferences of six teams each. The league will be overseen by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for the 2010 season, and titled the USSF Second Divsion. This is a happy conclusion to months of speculation and rumor, in the end we have a league for our boys to go out and win.
A congratulation is in order for our owner Merritt Paulson, who stayed out of the fray and assured Timber fans from the get go that Portland would be playing a regular season in some 2nd division league in 2010. A thanks is in order for the bloggers who fueled the fire and gave the geeks like me something to think about in the off season.
Now for those of you, who had sleepless nights wondering what will happen in the USL/NASL dispute, buy your season tickets and sleep like a baby on Benadryl.

Yes, we should all bend over and thank little lord Paulson. Paulson should sell knee pads in the team shop.
Aren't we lucky? We got a Lars Larson fan posting. This is sure to elevate the conversation to new bounds.
I would buy a lottery ticket. One posting appears to be a rare thing on this site.
FYI– Not a Lars fan Dan.
I'm sad that your last comment didn't contain any subtle homosexual innuendo.
I am sad that I you appear to have content control issues.
Keep Portland Mediocre
Mediocre cities refuse to find the funds to build sports arenas.
Keep your comments mediocre.
And when has a sports arena ever been a good investment for taxpayers?
Please cite your sources. Kansas City is floundering in debt and bleeding cash.
Wow, you went from telling us to give Paulson a blow job, to asking us to cite sources. Quite the transformation.
I guess ignorance is bliss.
suck it
